Thank you for requesting more information about this Free Training.
I’m often asked two very important questions and that’s what we’ll focus on in this short training: When is the best time to write my book? How do I start writing my book?
Here are the highlights of what we talked about today to help you on your writing journey:
- Write the best book you possibly can, and don’t worry about the future. make sure the book you’re working on right nowis the best thing you’ve ever written.
- Writing is a job – a learn as you grow job. It takes more than Participation, it takes passion, commitment and consistency.
- You have to schedule the time to write, and keep your appointment to write. Be disciplined and make writing a priorityin your life. If you love writing, A year from now you won’t remember what television shows you watched, but you’ll be proud of your finished works.
- Never wait around for inspiration. It’s your job to sit down in the chair and figure out what to write. There is no muse. There is no such thing as writer’s block. There’s only showing up on the page and writing.
- Concentrate on writing the best book you’d ever love to read without focusing on what’s popular right now. When you love your subject matter, your readers will feel it. The first person who has to be moved by your writing is you.
- The most important thing to remember Show Up on the Page and Write. Create a daily writing strategy that works for you to write consistently as an author. Perhaps you give yourself a challenge of a word count. Maybe you write for a specific time period per day. Self-Publishing experts recommend writing until you hit a daily word count of 500-1,000 words, but this ultimately depends on how many words are in your book. If you can commit to an hour a day, you should be able to reach that goal. After 30 days of daily writing sessions, you will have completed a 30,000-word draft. Or, you must flesh out a certain point in the outline. Whatever it is that keeps you committed to showing up on the page to write so that you achieve what you want to accomplish in your writing life.
You are the only one who can decide when to start your book.
I can offer this solution to how to start: make the commitment to show up on the page and journal for at least five minutes every day. By showing up on the page and writing longhand for a timed writing session you will be creating your personal writing strategy. This will allow you to get your ideas, thoughts, expertise, wonderings and worries out of your head and onto the page. Think of it as having a conversation with yourself on paper.
