Suggestions to inspire gentle changes and make simple shifts towards creating your hand-crafted life.
A friend of mine is a wonderful body worker who gives deep tissue massages. She is part of a networking organization with lots of tradespeople who would benefit greatly from a massage for their aching muscles. Yet, she was not connecting with potential customers who would clearly benefit from her services. I suggested she start answering the “what’s in it for me?” question the next time she had the opportunity to talk with a potential client. These tradespeople rely on their physicality to perform their job properly. Would they ever neglect the proper maintenace of tools or equipment? Yet, they are neglecting a priceless component of their livelihood by not keeping themselves in top working order.
Do you know to answer potential customer’s question “what’s in it for me?”
Good copywriting can help you craft an answer answer to that question.
The past four days I’ve been experiencing the beginning of a new era. I’ve reached my 59th year. I’ve celebrated 58 birthdays since this picture of Little Mary was taken. Notice the bracelet and necklace. I haven’t changed a bit. I still have the jewelry and the bright blue eyes; although my hair color varies slightly I am wearing it almost that short these days. I like to think that I still look at life with that same wide-eyed wonder.
I choose to believe that I possess a combination of Diva and Destiny infused with a great deal of Creativity with which to accomplish my goals whether it’s meeting a deadline, practicing a yoga pose or baking cookies. Yes, I have to admit that there have been times where this wild ride called Life has been so turbulant I’ve encountered some challenging circumstances. But there have been some equally amazing events as a result. I’ve learned how much I can do to further my own healing. I’ve learned how resilient I am. Every incident became an opportunity to grow and contributed to the person I am today. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
