Sandra Yancey, founder and CEO of eWomenNetwork, C.A.S.H. Model Formula encourages entrepreneurs to care for themselves

Have you ever attended an event where the speaker seemed to be delivering your message?

Recently, I had just such an experience. This particular speaker was bright, articulate, and engaging, with a very compelling story. I sat in awe of all she had accomplished. As her remarks moved from specific childhood circumstances to addressing the success strategies of the women entrepreneurs in the room, I no longer heard the speaker’s voice.

I heard my own.

Our speaker was Sandra Yancey, founder and CEO of eWomenNetwork, an exclusive membership community with 113 chapters throughout the U.S. and Canada consisting of primarily women business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives.  The acronym C.A.S.H. spells out our shared philosophy.

“C” stands “care for yourself.” (As a two-time breast cancer survivor, I am passionate about women not waiting until they have a health crisis to take care of themselves.)

“A” stands for “ask.” (I took her up on this invitation and requested a comment from her for the back of my soon to be released book tentatively titled, “Creativity, the gift of crisis.”)

“S” stands for “share.” (I delight in sharing my newly acquired wisdom of the healing properties of creativity, and coordinating hands-on opportunities for willing playmates.)

“H” stands for “harvest.” (I’m spreading the word about the importance of self-nurturing along with simple ideas to tap into your creativity on my web site, blog, as a speaker, and thru workshops.)

How do you care for yourself?

How do you ask for what you need?

How do you share your gifts?

How do you harvest your rewards?
